Now its time for Reddit to get a fix in the code that would prevent copying the content of the users in iOS 14 from the clipboard.
UPDATE: Seems like Reddit is capturing the clipboard on each keystroke as well 😕

The privacy function in iOS 14, which continues to be in a restricted beta for builders, has revealed a number of apps participating in clipboard-copying in the latest weeks. LinkedIn said Friday it could cease the follow, explaining its app was doing so to carry out an “equality test” between what a consumer is typing and what’s of their clipboard. “We don’t store or transmit the clipboard contents,” LinkedIn engineering VP Erran Berger wrote on Twitter. The corporate didn’t clarify why the apply was in place to start with.
TikTok, which has confronted criticism for privacy concerns on its app up to now, was referred to as out for similar clipboard-copying behavior final week. The corporate stated the apply was a part of an “anti-spam” function and that it was being discontinued.
A public beta of iOS 14 is anticipated within the subsequent few weeks and it’s possible that the clipboard privacy function could reveal extra apps engaged in these questionable habits.
